Chori ka Stationary

I had flicked a fruit from the vendor disguising my little hands amongst the shouting women, when i was 5, before I could relish on the fruit my mom noticed my theft and she tactfully returned that flicked fruit back with an explanation to avoid any embarrassment. I was reasoned first and thrashed next when i was unreasonable, however the thrill of flicking always stayed with me, you can say that was my darker side.

Cut to my degree college. I was always the back-bencher, who was very lazy to plan and organize his own things. The result of which was days when i did not carry my essentials. Some times it was the book and many-a-times it was STATIONARY. I borrowed them at days and returned them back after use. But this was just the beginning.

Cut to my Masters college. I was still the back-bencher, this time more lazier to do his own things. But with this years of studying, I had grown smarter. I borrowed STATIONARY, here too but never returned them.

My Modus Operandi was simple, as soon i entered the class, I use to scan through my bag for book and STATIONARY. The Book was my poor friend, who helped me in all my lectures, he always struggled for a identity(i used him for all my subjects). My bag was so unorganised that I didnt find a pen everytime i searched, it happened with a 100% success rate.

My immediate reaction was written all over my face. With a sincere-request-wala-expression I asked for the STATIONARY from my friends. They gave it to me relentlessly without questioning my shameless intent, because i never returned those pens. My sweet story was short-lived. These friends of mine, discoverred my modus operandi and exposed me in public. I was tagged as "STATIONARY-Chor", so much to the extent that every time those friends were searching for their lost stuff, my bag was the place to look for.

Today when i am done with MBA, i can think is of those days. I know "Chori Karna Paap Hai, par yaaro pen chori karne me jo maja hai, woh kisime nahi". Miss you friends and Thank you for letting me flick your pens :) :) :)
